This trip meanders our guests through mostly open river forested wetland habitats composed of marsh grasses, Cypress/Gum swamp and dryer sand hill habitats surrounded by low wetland swamps. Clam Shell Middens may be spotted while a commentary is provided that covers a wide range of topics on the Delta from present day fauna and flora to civil war battles and ancient civilisations. The tour is also good for spotting migratory birds in season.

Expected Wildlife:
Alligator, wading birds, rare woodland bird species, various raptors including Bald Eagles and aquatic turtles.

Season:
This tour runs year round Wed – Sun at 12pm weather permitting. No tour will run if the temperature is below 60 F or tropical storms are imminent. Great for all ages.
